The Bourne Supremacy

The Bourne Supremacy (Paul Greengrass, 2004). Still good, tho there’s unnecessarily egregious car-smashing.

I think I’ve figured out how and why, for me at least, Matt Damon gets away with carrying a huge-budget movie: he’s so dumb that he should get caught/killed at every moment – so it’s continually surprising that he doesn’t. We go on watching in disbelief.

When Jason Bourne is framed for a CIA operation gone awry, he is forced to resume his former life as a trained assassin to survive.
