Clytie Jessop (1929-2017) was an actress whose work in England in the 1960s included the part of Miss Jessel in The Innocents (Jack Clayton, 1961). That was shot by Freddie Francis, and he directed Jessop in two other minor films. She directed (and co-wrote with her husband and co-produced) just this one film.
