Angel Mine

Angel Mine (David Blyth, 1978) NZ; 68 min.

I watched some of Angel Mine (David Blyth, 1980) – ‘New Zealand’s own erotic fantasy’ - from the opening where the naked heroine is having her clothes put back on while she’s sitting on a toilet pan on a beach, up to the point where she, with her hair in curlers, is apparently getting excited by running around under a Hills Hoist in a high wind. I then decided we were being had, as with Forgotten Silver (except that Peter Jackson’s film was brilliant) and that going to bed looked like a better option.
