Tracker (Ian Sharp, 2010) NZ; Ray Winstone, Temuera Morrison; action adventure drama
It's the white bounty hunter vs the innocent indigenous outlaw plot + completely unbelievable resolution. It's [no article] Tracker (Ian Sharp, 2011). Ray Winstone does a very good job of his Boer vet, making Temuera Morrison look a bit ordinary (and small and a bit middle-aged, with his prominent bald patch). Morrison was astonishingly good in Once Were Warriors (Lee Tamahori, 1994) so this was disappointing. But not as disappointing as the rambling story (now he'll have a turn to be captor, no, let's switch back again) with its fickle finger of fate ending.
