21 (Robert Luketic, 2008) Jim Sturgess, Kate Bosworth, Kevin Spacey

Fact-based story about six MIT students who were trained to become experts in card counting and subsequently took Vegas casinos for millions in winnings.

Flat. None of the actors looks interested in their character. Well, Spacey can't help looking a bit involved, but apart from him ... the main guy, Sturgess, looks like he's trying out for his high school production of Our Town.

The main thing about this flick is that it's really hard to make stories about numbers work. And this is about numbers of numbers - card-counting. And this film ... does not count.
