GG:
Why do ppl keep giving Carax obscenely large amounts of money to put together such egotistical pastiches of cinematic 'art'? I suspect there might be something of the legendary emperor about him – you know: the one with the new clothes. I sat through Adam Driver's inadequate performance as 'standup comic', thinking 'this will never end' and 'at least once it's over I'll never have to watch it again' — and then just a bit later he did it all again - only worse. After all that and a couple of Marion Cotillard's pathetic attempts at singing operatically, I gave up.
