Enter the Void

Can one sum this up in three sentences? The critic in Le Monde did pretty well with these few words: ‘mixture of exuberant invention and puerility’. I think you have to be more interested in psychotropic drugs than I am to really appreciate this film. And it’s too long. But: great opening credits; and I understand the ending, OK?

A US drug dealer living in Tokyo is betrayed by his best friend and killed in a drug deal. His soul, observing the repercussions of his death, seeks resurrection.

Paz de la Huerta, Nathaniel Brown, Cyril Roy
