The Impossible

This made me wonder what it’s for: The Impossible (Lo imposible, Juan Antonio Bayona, 2012). It’s not (mainly) art; it’s not entertainment—not for me anyway, not for a moment. Which only leaves … documentary. That’s why it exists. Like Schindler’s List. And, like that, it’s miserable. Worse, actually, experientially. (It's Naomi Watts surviving a tsunami, if you don't know what I'm talking about.)
