I watched this for the subject matter. I found Kinsey (Bill Condon, 2004) a bit squirmy. No doubt it was me, being old. But I wondered if it might not also be because even in the Noughties Americans are still not quite comfortable in talking about this stuff.

Laura Linney was going for the Oscar again, letting herself look so plain throughout. And Neeson’s nose has never looked so bumpy, under his pineapple hair.
