It’s fascinating to read the reviews of Duncan Jones’s Moon (2009), as they tend to be so polarised. That was helpful, as I felt undecided throughout, and still do. But I’m pretty sure I didn’t like Sam Rockwell’s acting – even if he did win awards.
I wonder to what extent perceptions of this film – both in pre-production and on the screen – were influenced by the knowledge of the identity of the father of the writer/director, Mr Jones Snr.
