Play It Again Sam (Woody Allen, 1972)
Watched this again, for only the second time. Quite disappointed, as I might have expected. It’s not Annie Hall – which is five years later, by which time Allan [sic] and Diane were no longer an item – except cinematically.
A neurotic film critic obsessed with the movie Casablanca (1942) attempts to get over his wife leaving him by dating again with the help of a married couple and his illusory idol, Humphrey Bogart.
