Still Alice (Richard Glatzer, Wash Westmoreland, 2014) written by the directors from a novel by Lisa Genova
Blurb: A linguistics professor and her family find their bonds tested when she is diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease.

In terms of acting, this almost entirely depends on Julianne Moore (tho Alec Baldwin is well cast), and she does not disappoint. This is as good a film as you might expect to see on this topic -- tho you'd have to say that about Iris as well. The Academy thought JM was Best Actress in 2014.
