This Must be the Place

This Must be the Place (Paolo Sorrentino, 2011) dp Luca Bigazzi

Cheyenne, a retired rock star living off his royalties in Dublin, returns to New York City to find the man responsible for a humiliation suffered by his recently deceased father during WW2.

Sean Penn, Harry Dean Stanton, Judd Hirsch, Frances McDormand

I resumed watching this about the hour mark, and, no longer being distracted by Sean Penn's wig and makeup, noticed ... the cinematography! Which is brilliant!
I have no idea what's going on in this film and will watch it again ... or read the Wikipedia synopsis - having stored the visuality. I can confidently say that it's worth watching at least once.
