Thunderball

Over lunch one day, I thought I’d glance at Thunderball (1965) the last James Bond film directed by Terence Young. … So that took up most of the afternoon, as it’s over two hours long, and a load of old cobblers – but a bit of fun. I’ve always thought the opening credits the best part of all the Bond films. I've also always thought that the second one, From Russia With Love, is the best. Now I think they're much of a muchness.

James Bond heads to The Bahamas to recover two nuclear warheads stolen by SPECTRE agent Emilio Largo in an international extortion scheme.

Sean Connery, Claudine Auger, Adolfo Celi
