Gaston Mervale

Mervale's career as a film director was brief. After Australian Life Biograph closed down in 1912 he went to New York and worked in the USA for five years as an actor with various stage companies. He returned to Australia in 1917 under engagement to J. and N. Tait to produce new American plays for them in Australia and New Zealand. He continued to make minor film appearances until the late 1920s. Pike & Cooper: 15.
