Online presence in film Literature:

There is a lot of information on the internet about Swimming Upstream especially in the form of reviews, articles, general information and pictures. However if you are trying to find any substantial figures or evidence from academic sites the process is a lot more tedious.

Sharing the same name as many business phrases and conception processes, I was at a loss when it came to trying to find relevant information about the box office figures and the films budget. I ended up having to contact the distribution and production company for further information and evidence.

Considering the film has been out for five years now, I thought accessing information about Swimming Upstream would be a lot easier than it actually was. I tried to access materials from a host of different site but I ended up spending far too much time trying to find other sources. Every time I entered different variations into the search engine, I ended up with the same five or six useful sites.

Swimming Upstream is not a very high profile Australian film so many of the articles and reviews found were very short and covered most of the information I had previously read. After spending many hours searching, I did build up quite an extensive array of information about the films purpose, the actors and the production crew.
